Born on 19th January 1953 in Kyabakadde, Uganda, His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga rose from humble beginnings in Nagalama Parish to become one of the most influential spiritual leaders in Uganda and across Africa. He was a man deeply grounded in theology, education, and compassion, serving both the Church and the people with unwavering devotion. From his early education at Kyabakadde Primary School to his higher studies in Rome and France, he pursued wisdom with humility and purpose.

ACKLAF Foundation is a Non-Government Organisation that was established in 2022 to promote, protect and preserve the legacy of a Philanthropic, Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, a shepherd known for his deep commitment to both the spiritual and material well-being of his people, the Archbishop left behind a blueprint for a more compassionate and self-reliant society. The Foundation actively promotes the memory of Archbishop Lwanga through education, community-upliftment, providing primary health care and Nutrition, and girl child-empowerment initiatives, amongst others.
